Cards!

Sun was shining un through my window this morning! It was not even overcast! What a great way to start my day! My first class was German, and that passed quickly as always. Next I had History, where I gave my speech on Socialism in the class. Thank you McConnaha for your excellent teachings of how to present a good speech. I had about an hour of time off of school, so I sat down in my favorite place in Kettwig. The church benches overlooking the Ruhr river. It was a fantastic view today. I had a German tutor lesson today again, and I am starring to feel confident in my conjugating skills, which is half the battle. I had another two hour brake, so I strolled around the old cobblestone streets some more. Finally I had my last class of Spanish, which seemed to take forever. When I got home u was greeted with a plate of steaming rice with a delicious butter sauce, and fish sticks. I did my homework, and then Silke, Ulf, Lucas, Anton and I started to play a card game. Its very complicated but I'm getting better. There are a lot of small details involved, and a lot of strategy, all at a fast pace. I was surprised when about half way through a game, I answered my iPod Skype call I was recieving, and there was my uncle Gary! That made my day! It was a great end to the day!

  1. How cool to get Skyped from Uncle Gary. I think that Papa and I will be able to do that soon too! Anyway, do you know what the name of the card game is? Grama
